The apartment sits in the station district, giving direct rail access across Milan and to Linate (8 km) and Malpensa airports via shuttle from Centrale. The area is lively with restaurants (Ristorante Baobab, Kashmir, Little Italy within 0.5 km), a supermarket, and a pharmacy. An outdoor market operates in the square on Saturdays, which can cause noise and odour. While the immediate street is relatively quiet, the neighbourhood is functional and not the most scenic. For reaching the Duomo, a 30-minute walk or a short metro ride works well. Paid street parking is available directly in front for unloading.

The apartment sleeps up to 4-5 guests in two bedrooms, each with comfortable beds, plus a sofa in the living room (suitable for one person). The two-bedroom layout uses a partial partition rather than a solid separating wall - the second bedroom is essentially a room within the main room, with a cut-out hole between them. Sound travels very easily, so privacy is limited. The bathroom is compact with a small shower, a bidet, and a window facing another building - the window is transparent, offering little privacy. Summer stays are problematic: no air conditioning, only a fan, and opening windows brings in street noise. Winter stays are comfortable with efficient heating. Some fixtures show wear (cracked sink, hole in bedroom door), and cleanliness has been inconsistent. The decor is pleasant with artwork and a wooden floor, making the space feel homely despite the dated fittings.

The apartment offers a strong Wi-Fi connection (583 Mbps, free) for remote work or streaming. Self check-in and door access is entirely by smartphone app - there is no reception, so a charged phone and mobile data are essential. Check-out is also digital only. The host is responsive by message and has occasionally permitted early check-in. Luggage storage is not available; the nearest paid lockers are at Milano Centrale station. Parking is paid street parking (€2/hour) or nearby private garages with daily rates. Pets are allowed on request with no extra charges.
