UHOME FABRIC HOTEL, Tokyo

The apartment hotel is set in a calm, safe neighbourhood about 900 m from Oshiage Station, giving direct access to Tokyo Skytree and the Oshiage shopping centre. Hatonomachidori Shopping Street is 400 m away, and Sumida Cultural Museum is within walking distance. Walking to Asakusa (Senso-ji Temple) takes about 20-25 minutes along the river. A 7-Eleven convenience store is 5 minutes on foot, and several bakeries, restaurants and a grocery store are within a few blocks. Haneda Airport is 27 km away. The area feels local and uncrowded compared to central Tokyo, making it well suited for travellers wanting a peaceful base after sightseeing.

Each apartment is recently renovated and equipped with a full kitchen (stovetop, fridge, oven, kettle, microwave, toaster), a washing machine, dining area, and free WiFi. Units feature soundproof walls, parquet or tatami flooring, and a hot tub in the apartment. Sleeping options include a mix of single beds and traditional Japanese futons; rooms up to 35 m2 can accommodate two single beds, a double tatami, and a sofa bed. The bathrooms are split with a separate toilet, sink, and shower/bath area. The accommodation feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. For groups of 5 with luggage, space can feel a little compact. The quiet street views and soundproofing contribute to a restful night's sleep.

The standout wellness feature is the private hot tub available in the apartment. The property does not have a pool, gym, spa, or common leisure area, but the Sumida River is within a few minutes' walk and offers a calm setting for evening strolls. Tokyo Skytree is a 15-minute walk away, and the surrounding area includes parks and cultural sites. The quiet residential setting makes the apartment itself a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing.

The property offers practical free amenities: WiFi in all areas, fully self-service laundry (washers and dryers with free detergent) on the ground floor, luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, and a lift. Express check-in/check-out is available, and the front desk is not staffed but communication via messaging is prompt and clear. Additional confirmed services include a designated smoking area, non-smoking rooms, and 24-hour security with CCTV. No parking is available on site. Families note that cots and extra futons can be arranged, and the responsive staff helps with room allocation for larger groups.
