VATICAN GIULIANA APARTMENT 38, Rome

The location is in a popular residential area with excellent walkability: St Peter's Square is 1 km away, Castel Sant'Angelo is 2 km, and the Ottaviano metro station provides direct connections across the city. Bus routes 23 and 70 run nearby, linking to central attractions. Rome Ciampino Airport is 19 km away - a taxi or airport train plus metro is the typical route. Numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and cafés are clustered within 300 metres of the apartment, including Panificio Bonci and Popeye Pizza. The neighbourhood is considered safe and quiet for city standards, though street noise from the ground-floor position is a factor for light sleepers.

The unit includes a separate bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower and bidet. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, tea and coffee facilities, and a dining table. The apartment features soundproofed windows, air conditioning (portable unit in the main bedroom), hypoallergenic bedding, a work desk, and a sofa. The sofa bed has been noted as uncomfortable and noisy by some, while the double bed and bunk beds are generally described as comfortable. The bathroom has a bidet, but the shower quality has been described as basic. Street noise can be significant in the bedroom facing the road; the living area and kitchen are quieter. The unit is heated with autonomous heating, and hot water can be limited after two consecutive showers. The overall space is considered spacious for up to four adults, but tight for six with the sofa bed in use.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, tea and coffee maker, and a dining table. Cooking utensils and crockery are provided, though quantities have been described as sufficient for up to four people rather than six. The surrounding area is rich with dining options within a 300-metre walk, including Popeye Pizza (affordable Italian food), Panificio Bonci (bakery), Bella Napoli (pizza and seafood), and several other restaurants and supermarkets. A supermarket is also nearby for groceries. No on-site restaurant or meal service is available; all eating must be done in the apartment or at nearby venues.
