VERTEX HOMES, Rome

The property sits in the city centre, 7 minutes on foot from Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station and 400 metres from Rome Termini train station, giving direct rail access across the city and to Ciampino Airport (14 km). Major sights like the Colosseum are within a 2 km walk, and Santa Maria Maggiore basilica is just 300 metres away. The surrounding streets have supermarkets, restaurants, and a trattoria downstairs. The area is well connected by metro, bus, and tram, making a car unnecessary. Note that the immediate area includes some maintenance-worn items and rubbish bins near the entrance.

Rooms are available as double or single units, all with a private bathroom featuring bath, shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some private bathrooms are located across the hall rather than en-suite. Each room includes air conditioning, soundproof walls, a seating area, wardrobe, parquet floors, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV. Room sizes vary - some are spacious, while others feel compact. A fridge and microwave are provided in some units. The single bed is smaller but adequate. Road-facing rooms may experience noise from air conditioning units, while rear rooms on the first floor are quieter. Some fixtures and furnishings show wear, and certain windows have been taped shut or are non-operational. Bed mattresses have been described as firm.

The property does not have its own restaurant or bar. Breakfast is not offered. However, the surrounding streets are dense with dining options - Mercato Centrale Roma, Acqua & Farina, La Caffetteria Tudini, Al Fagianetto, Trattoria Angelo, and others are all within 300 metres. A trattoria Cecio is located directly below the property. A supermarket is also nearby for self-catering needs. The electric kettle and mini-fridge in some rooms allow basic drink preparation.

High-speed WiFi (608 Mbps) is free throughout. Daily housekeeping and a 24-hour security system with key access and fire extinguishers are in place. Family rooms are available. Luggage storage is offered free of charge after check-out, helpful for late flights. Reception provides an invoice, and staff are reachable via WhatsApp. There is no parking on-site, no lift, and no business or meeting facilities. Check-in is 14:00-20:00; confirm arrival time to avoid delays. Some reception staff may not speak Italian.
