WE FLORENCE TERRACE RESORT, Florence

The property sits on a lively street filled with cafés and restaurants, yet remains slightly removed from the busiest tourist flow, offering a quieter base. The Accademia Gallery and Piazza del Duomo are within a 10-minute walk, and the Uffizi Gallery is 2 km away. Florence Airport is 9 km away, easily reached by taxi or tram. For those driving, a garage is located a 10-minute walk away at €15 per day, which is strongly recommended over navigating the ZTL restricted zone. The surrounding streets provide a good selection of dining, including Florens Pizzeria, Antica Trattoria da Tito, and Il Forno San Gallo, all within a 5-minute walk.

Each apartment features a private entrance, soundproof walls, parquet floors, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Bed sizes range from large foam double beds to configurations with a sofa bed in the living area, making them suitable for singles, couples, or small families. Kitchens include a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, and cooking basics such as oil, salt, and coffee. Bathrooms are spacious and clean, with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Some apartments also offer a sunny terrace or balcony with views of the neighbourhood or nearby hills, ideal for evening relaxation. The building is a traditional Florentine structure with wood-beamed ceilings and no lift, so the second-floor walk-up is part of the experience.

Each apartment includes a kitchen or kitchenette with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, cookware, and starter supplies of oil, salt, pepper, coffee, and tea, allowing for easy meal preparation. A minimarket is located on-site for basic groceries. For dining out, the immediate area offers a wide variety: Florens Pizzeria, Antica Trattoria da Tito, 54 Rosso Vineria Specialita', and Il Vegetariano are all within 2-5 minutes on foot. Finnegan's Irish Pub and Il Vegano provide additional casual and vegan options. The neighbourhood is well served for both quick bites and sit-down meals, removing the need to walk far after a day of sightseeing.
