WeStay Capsule Hostel sits in the Al Karama neighbourhood of Bur Dubai, a practical area with many affordable Indian and Pakistani restaurants, grocery stores, and a Carrefour within a few minutes' walk. The Grand Mosque is 1 km away, and the Dubai World Trade Centre is 6 km. Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are about 10 km north. The bus station at Al Ghubaiba offers direct services to Abu Dhabi, and the metro connects to all key city districts. The hostel is inside a residential-style building; the entrance can be hard to spot on the first visit, so using the landmark of the ground-floor Indian restaurant helps. For airport transfers, the metro from Al Ghubaiba runs to Dubai International Airport in about 20 minutes.

Each capsule offers a spacious, private bed space with a thick curtain for privacy, adequate headroom for sitting up to read or work, and a built-in shelf. The beds are consistently described as comfortable and supportive. Each unit includes a personal smart charger with USB sockets, a lockable wardrobe with shelves and hanging space for valuables, and a control for the capsule's ambient star-ceiling lighting. The room is air-conditioned and well-ventilated. A shared bathroom with hairdryer is available; daily housekeeping ensures it is kept clean. The dormitory style means some noise from other occupants is possible, but the capsules' design and the hostel's quiet policy (adults-only, no parties) generally keep sound levels low. Bed linen, towel, and a desk are provided. The entrance ladder to the top bunk can feel a little steep for some, but the capsules are well-organised and modern.

The hostel provides a free coffee station with hot water, tea, and coffee sachets, plus a chilled water dispenser. The shared kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridge, and basic cookware, making it easy to prepare simple meals. No restaurant or bar is on-site, but the ground-floor Indian restaurant offers convenient, affordable dining. Within a 3-minute walk, you will find a dozen Indian, Pakistani, and Arabic restaurants, as well as grocery stores for stocking the kitchen. The Al Karama area is known for very cheap street food and sit-down meals, with full meals often available for under a few euros.

There are no fitness or relaxation facilities on the property. The hostel's leisure offering is limited to the common kitchen and lounge area where travellers can socialise. For wellness and swimming, guests must use public beaches (nearest about 3 km to Jumeirah Beach) or pay-for-use gyms in the neighbourhood. The hostel is adults-only and quiet after hours, making it suitable for low-key downtime. Some capsules include a built-in projector for Netflix and YouTube, adding an in-room entertainment option.

The hostel offers free and reliable Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas, suitable for remote work and streaming. Reception services include a check-in/out kiosk with clear instructions, an ATM on-site, currency exchange, and a private check-in/out option. Daily housekeeping is complementary, keeping the dormitory and bathroom clean. Laundry (washing machine) is available for an extra charge, and an ironing service and trouser press can also be arranged for a fee. A minimarket and barber shop are on the ground floor. Security is well-covered with CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and a security alarm. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The management (Jishad and Ajnas) are known for being helpful and responsive, often sleeping in the same dormitory for quick assistance.
