WOODSPRING SUITES COLUMBUS NEAR FORT BENNING, Columbus

The property sits 9 km from Columbus Airport and 48 km from The Gallery on Railroad. It is positioned near Fort Benning, making it potentially convenient for visits to the base, though the immediate surrounding area has been described as offering limited safety and requires careful planning for transportation. The lack of on-site parking means guests must arrange their own transport or rely on rideshare services. The location is best suited for those familiar with the area and arriving by taxi or ride-hail.

Each room provides a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. The rooms include a full-size refrigerator, 2-burner cooktop, and microwave, making them suitable for longer stays. Beds are full-size only with standard-sized tubs. The accommodation is basic and utilitarian, with practical equipment for self-catering. Paying attention to cleanliness and maintenance is important, as the reported condition of the furnishings and bedding may not meet all expectations.

The property does not offer a restaurant, bar, or complimentary breakfast. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is provided on-site. The in-room kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, and microwave allows guests to prepare their own meals. Given the lack of on-site dining, planning meals in advance or identifying nearby restaurants is necessary.
