WS OPERA - DUPHOT, Paris

The apartment is ideally positioned for exploring Paris on foot. Opéra Garnier is 700 metres away, Tuileries Garden is less than 1 km, and both the Louvre Museum and Musée d'Orsay are within a 16-minute walk. Orly Airport is 18 km away, reachable via the metro from Madeleine station (a 2-minute walk). The area is safe, lively, and surrounded by shops, boutiques, and restaurants. For those arriving by car, no parking is available on site, but a nearby public garage around the corner offers a cheaper alternative.

The studios are compact but efficiently designed, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. Each unit includes a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a flat-screen TV, heating, and a safe deposit box. The double bed measures under 120 cm, making it suitable for a single traveller or a couple who don't mind close quarters. Some studios include a balcony (French balcony style). The interior has steps and split levels, which can be a tripping hazard, especially in the dark. There is no air conditioning, and the room ventilation depends on opening the window, which lets in street noise. The building's common areas can appear dated and less clean. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the building has a lift.

The apartment offers a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine, ideal for preparing simple meals. An electric kettle and cookware are also provided. The surrounding area offers a wide choice of dining options, with well-reviewed restaurants such as Goumard, Le Baudelaire, and Bistrot Mavrommatis all within 0.5 km. A restaurant directly opposite the property is noted as good value. For those arriving late, there are nearby eateries open in the evening. Coffee capsules and bottled water are not supplied, so plan to bring your own or buy them locally.

The apartment itself does not include a pool, gym, spa, or similar leisure amenities. However, the location provides easy access to outdoor recreation and cultural attractions. Tuileries Garden is less than 1 km away, ideal for a morning walk or evening stroll. Musée de l'Orangerie, the Louvre, and Musée d'Orsay are all within a 15-20 minute walk. Boating is available in the surrounding area. For relaxation, a Thai massage studio is located directly across the street. Solo travellers have reported feeling safe exploring the neighbourhood even at night.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The building has a lift, though it is narrow and better suited for luggage use. Reception services are available 24/7 via a remote team, and check-in/check-out can be done express via a secure code system. A safety deposit box, smoke alarms, and CCTV in common areas are provided for security. No parking is available on site; a public garage around the corner is a cheaper alternative. There is no luggage storage, no daily housekeeping, and no on-site staff for immediate assistance. Towel changes and additional toilet paper can be arranged by messaging the management during the stay. The building security system uses multiple coded doors, making it secure but requiring careful attention to the access instructions sent in advance.
