The building is opposite a prison, which contributes to persistent siren noise, and the room windows face the street, so the location is best for those who are not sensitive to noise.

The studio is very small - considerably smaller than depicted in the promotional photos - and the bathroom is tiny, with a low toilet. The room has one bed accessible from only one side. The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and kitchenware, though some units may lack a full kitchen and only have a sink and boiler. The windows are single-glazed and let in substantial street noise, including traffic and sirens; the blinds are often broken, letting in light from street lamps. Earplugs are supplied. The walls are thin, and the room may retain humidity if the bathroom fan is not working. The bed is comfortable, heating is good, and the basics (coffee, tea, toiletries) are provided. Cleanliness can be inconsistent - some guests report fresh linens while others note stains or hair.
