ALINARI BOUTIQUE APARTMENTS, Florence

The apartments sit directly across from Florence's main train station, making arrival and departure effortless. Santa Maria Novella is a 3-minute walk, Piazza del Duomo is 700 metres, and the Accademia Gallery is a 10-minute stroll. Ponte Vecchio is 1 km. A tram stop at Villa Costanza connects to the centre in 22 minutes at €1.20 per ride. For short trips, nearly all major sights, restaurants, and shops (including a CONAD supermarket on the ground floor) are within a few minutes' walk, ideal for car-free city breaks.

Each unit comprises a separate bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a stovetop, refrigerator, coffee machine, and dining table. Rooms are air-conditioned and heated, with a desk, seating area, wardrobe, ironing facilities, and city views from the windows. The apartments are notably more spacious than typical city hotel rooms, and the private entrance ensures independence. A washing machine is available in some units, which is a practical bonus for longer stays. Note that the electrical system may trip if multiple high-power appliances run at once; avoid using the kettle, air conditioner, and hair dryer simultaneously.

The kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, coffee machine, dining area) allows full self-catering, and the CONAD supermarket on the ground floor makes it easy to stock up on fresh produce, pasta, and local specialties. For those who prefer eating out, the surrounding streets offer a dense concentration of restaurants and trattorias: Panino Mondiale, Alinari Cafe, Miya, Braciere Malatesta, Ristorante Sushina, and Capitale della Cina are all within 300 metres. Trattoria Za Za and Trattoria Mario are within 500 metres. The city's historic centre also provides endless casual and fine-dining options just a short walk away.

The property does not offer a gym, spa, pool, or leisure facilities. However, the location places guests at the heart of Florence's cultural and retail attractions: the Accademia Gallery is a 10-minute walk, the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery (further east) are within easy walking distance, and the Mercato Centrale with its food stalls and cooking classes is just 5 minutes away.
