FIORENTINI - STAZIONE, Florence

Fiorentini - Stazione sits in the heart of Florence, just 5 minutes on foot from the central train station and a short walk to Santa Maria Novella, Strozzi Palace (700 m), Palazzo Vecchio (900 m), Ponte Vecchio (1 km) and the Uffizi Gallery (1 km). The location is highly walkable for sightseeing, with many restaurants, bars and shops within a few blocks. Florence Airport is 9 km away. However, the street can be very lively at night, especially on weekends, so light sleepers may need to plan accordingly.

The rooms are clean and functional, each featuring air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some rooms overlook the street while others face a quieter inner courtyard. The property also has a shared kitchen for guest use. Rooms are generally compact and practical for a city break. Noise from the street can be significant at night, particularly in rooms facing the front, and windows do not offer strong sound insulation. Some rooms have had reports of low water pressure in the shower, so guests who value a powerful shower may want to note this.

There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the property offers a shared kitchen with basic equipment: electric kettle, stove, coffee machine, fridge and cooking utensils. Guests have left bread, coffee, tea and snacks for self-service breakfast. More than a dozen restaurants and trattorias are within a 300-metre radius, including Ristorante Pizzeria Maso', Trattoria Il Contadino and Antica Friggitoria Dell'albero, offering a range of Italian and international cuisine. The central location means dining options are abundant and varied.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. The staff speak English, Italian, Georgian, Russian and Albanian. A shared kitchen is available for guest use. There is no parking on site and no lift. Luggage storage is not available on the day of departure, so guests with late travel should plan accordingly. Housekeeping is provided but bed linen and towels are not included in the rate.
