ALLOGGI GEROTTO CALDERAN 3, Venice

The guest house is on a spacious square near the train station, providing direct routes to Piazzale Roma for buses, the Grand Canal water buses, and major sights. Ca' d'Oro, Scuola Grande di San Rocco, and Frari Basilica are within 1 km, while St. Mark's Square is a pleasant walk away. The surrounding area is lively with restaurants, bars, a supermarket, and a vaporetto stop, making it convenient for exploring Venice without relying on water taxis. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 13 km from the property.

Double and triple rooms are available, each with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, and a kettle, and some have a city view overlooking the square or a nearby church. The interior is practical rather than modern; room sizes are compact but efficiently arranged. Triple rooms offer adequate space for a small group or family. Beds are comfortable but some double rooms use two single beds pushed together, which may separate during sleep. The building is quiet overall, supporting a restful stay.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Reception staff speak English, Spanish, and Italian and are noted for their helpfulness with directions and check-in logistics. Luggage storage is offered after checkout for day trips; the storage room is not attended, so valuables should be carried. Key collection takes place at a nearby hotel, not at the building itself. Payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. There are no on-site dining options, but numerous restaurants are within a short walk. Cots are available on request, and the property is non-smoking throughout.
