ALTSTADT VERSTECK, Vienna

The apartment sits in the real heart of Vienna, tucked away on a quiet alley yet surrounded by the city's most iconic buildings. St. Peter's Catholic Church is a 2-minute walk, St. Stephen's Cathedral is 400 m away, and Hofburg Palace, Albertina Museum, and Graben square are all reachable within 5-10 minutes on foot. The nearest metro station is also a short walk, providing direct access to Vienna International Airport (18 km). Most key attractions - Vienna State Opera, House of Music, Volksgarten, Imperial Treasury - are within a 12-minute walk, making this a car-free base for sightseeing.

The apartment is spacious and well furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen (including oil, salt, and basic cooking essentials) and a washing machine. The living area contains a comfortable pull-out sofa bed, while the separate bedroom has a large bed. The unit is air-conditioned, has heating and a flat-screen TV, and comes with a wardrobe. Towels and linens are provided at no extra charge, and a hairdryer is available. The apartment feels larger than the photos suggest, making it suitable for couples or a family of four.

The surrounding area offers seasonal leisure activities including an ice-skating rink and boating, but the apartment does not have its own wellness or fitness facilities. The historic centre itself provides plenty of walking routes for casual exploration.

Wi-Fi is free and reliable throughout the apartment (mobile reception can be weak inside, but the Wi-Fi works well). Reception staff speak German and English and can assist with luggage storage before check-in or later after check-out. The host was noted for being responsive and helpful, including allowing baggage to be left longer. Cots are available on request. No pets are allowed, and no parking is available.
