About the Hotel

919 Royal Street, New Orleans, 70116-
Steps from Jackson Square

Hotel Details

Location

Situated on Royal Street in the French Quarter, the hotel is one block from Bourbon Street and a few minutes' walk from St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square, and Café du Monde.
The location places you within easy walking distance of nearly all French Quarter attractions, including the French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, and the lively bars and clubs of Bourbon Street. Royal Street itself is quieter and more relaxed, with galleries, shops, and restaurants. For trips further afield, a streetcar line is a short walk away-tickets can be purchased on board for $1.25 per ride or $3 for an all-day pass. The nearest airport (Louis Armstrong New Orleans International) is 19 km away; taxis, Uber, and Lyft are available. The hotel's central position makes it ideal for car-free exploration of the Quarter, though guests arriving by car will need to use off-site parking lots several blocks away.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a balcony room (King with Balcony) far in advance-only 2 out of 21 rooms have one.

  • 02

Request a refrigerator and your specific room preferences by calling the hotel after making a reservation.

  • 03

Use the off-site parking app (Premium Parking) to find and compare French Quarter lot prices before committing to a lot.

  • 04

Plan to eat breakfast at one of the many nearby cafes and restaurants-no on-site breakfast is available.
