APARTAMENTO VELAZQUEZ, Malaga

The apartment sits in a well-connected area ideal for exploring Malaga without a car. The A airport bus stops on the corner, and a metro station is a few minutes' walk away. The neighbourhood is practical, with a pharmacy and supermarket right next door, and numerous tapas bars, restaurants, and cafes within a five-minute walk. The location is also excellent for car access, situated near the highway and offering generally good street parking options, except on Wednesdays when the street becomes a market. The city centre and the Picasso Museum (6 km) are easily reachable by bus or metro.

The apartment offers generous space for groups or families, with a layout that includes a comfortable living room with a dining area and a flat-screen TV. The three bedrooms are bright and roomy; two bedrooms have windows for natural ventilation, and one bedroom plus the living room have air conditioning. The other two bedrooms feature ceiling fans and benefit from cross-ventilation when windows are open. The two bathrooms include one with a bath, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware, electric kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities. A washing machine and trouser press add further convenience. The host provides plenty of linen and towels. This is a practical, comfortable base for longer stays.

Guests can prepare full meals using the well-fitted kitchen, which includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and utensils. A dining area seats the group. This self-catering option is particularly useful given the proximity of a supermarket right next door. For those who prefer to eat out, the immediate area offers a good selection of Spanish tapas bars (including La Española Tapas and Taperia Maxitapas), a café (Café Bar Rincón de Málaga), and other local restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The variety is sufficient for daily meals without needing to travel far.

The apartment itself does not have its own wellness facilities such as a pool, gym, or spa. However, the location is ideal for beach access: Misericordia Beach, a broad sandy stretch, is within a 15-minute walk. The Automobile and Fashion Museum is 3 km away, and the city's main cultural sites, including the Picasso Museum, are a short bus or metro ride into the centre. The presence of good public transport connections makes day trips to other beaches and towns along the coast straightforward.
