APARTMENT MARGUTTA CENTER, Rome

The apartment occupies a prime position in the real heart of Rome, on the legendary Via Margutta-once home to Fellini and known for its art galleries and quiet, charming atmosphere. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are each within a 1 km walk, while the Spagna metro station is just 5 minutes away, providing easy access across the city and to Roma Termini. Rome Ciampino Airport is 18 km from the property. Dozens of restaurants (including Il Margutta and Ristorante Museo Canova Tadolini) are within a 0.3-0.5 km radius, and grocery stores are nearby for self-catering. The street is safe, walkable, and notably quiet at night despite being in the city centre.

The apartment features 1 bedroom with 2 beds, a living room, and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. The well-fitted kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and kitchenware. The unit is air-conditioned and has soundproof walls, a seating area with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a wardrobe, and a safe deposit box. The interior is kept simple and functional, with parquet floors and ironing facilities provided. While there is no balcony, the property is described as clean, comfortable, and well-suited for short stays. The historic building means some rooms face internal courtyards, which are very quiet. Road-facing rooms are not known to be noisy, but light sleepers may prefer a courtyard-facing unit.

The property does not have a restaurant. However, the kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. The surrounding area offers an excellent selection of dining options: at least seven restaurants (including Il Margutta, Ad Hoc, and Osteria Margutta) are within a 0.3-0.5 km radius, covering a range of cuisines. A wine/champagne service is available for an additional charge, and a minimarket is on site for basic supplies. Breakfast availability depends on the specific room booking-check dates to confirm if it is offered.

The apartment does not have a spa or swimming pool. For leisure activities, cycling is possible in the surrounding area, and bike tours and themed dinner nights can be arranged for an additional charge off-site. Board games and puzzles are available for entertainment within the apartment. The central location means most major sights are within walking distance, making it easy to explore Rome on foot.

WiFi is free throughout the property. Airport shuttle service is available for an additional fee and must be requested after booking. Other transport options include bicycle rental, car hire, and shuttle service-all for an extra charge. A minimarket is located on site for convenience. Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services are available for an additional fee. Safety features include smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and a safe deposit box. Key access is used for security. As there is no on-site parking, travellers arriving by car will need to use public parking facilities elsewhere. Housekeeping is not included in the standard stay; guests should plan accordingly for longer visits.
