Puerta de Atocha station is less than 1 km away, and Gran Vía Metro station is a 19-minute walk. All three major art museums are within a 10-13 minute walk from the property. The neighbourhood has multiple metro lines providing direct access to other parts of the city, including the football stadium (approximately 20 minutes by metro). Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 15 km from the apartment. The area is generally safe and walkable for daytime exploration.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service on site. Each apartment is equipped with a full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and basic utensils), making self-catering straightforward. Several groceries - including a large supermarket with 24-hour opening - are within a 5-minute walk. The Lavapiés area is dense with bars, casual restaurants and food markets, including the Anton Martin gastro market. A typical selection of nearby dining includes Café de Ratas, Il morto che parla, La Playa de Lavapies, Soide Mersol and Tatema Madrid, all within a short walk.

Wi-Fi is provided free of charge in all areas. The property does not have on-site parking; the nearest public parking is within walking distance but not affiliated with the apartment. The host requires a scheduled appointment for key handover, and delays beyond 10 minutes incur a penalty of 5 EUR per added 30-minute block.
