APPARTAMENTO INCANTEVOLE, Florence

The apartment sits in a quiet, attractive suburb on a hill, offering views over Florence. The walk downhill to the historic centre - including Pitti Palace (19 min), Ponte Vecchio (2 km), and the Uffizi Gallery (2 km) - takes about 20 minutes, but the return is uphill and slower. For those who prefer not to walk, bus line 11 stops 8 minutes away and reaches the cathedral area in 15-20 minutes without transfers. Tickets must be purchased in advance from a tabaccheria or newsstand. Florence Airport (FLR) is 9 km away; a taxi or the bus combination covers the route easily. Several restaurants including Pasha (0.5 km) and Pizzeria Antica Porta (1 km) are within walking distance.

This 52 m2 apartment sleeps up to four people on two beds - one in the separate bedroom and one sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, with a high-quality mattress. The living room includes a seating area, a dining table, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The bathroom has a shower, free toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and well heated in winter, with parquet floors throughout. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, and ample cookware for preparing full meals. A washing machine and dryer are available. The top-floor position in a historic villa means there is no lift - guests carry luggage up three flights of stairs. Views from the windows extend over the garden and across Florence.

The apartment's kitchen has everything needed to cook full meals - stove, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, cookware, and utensils - making it easy to eat in. The host may provide a light welcome breakfast basket with coffee and snacks, but there is no regular daily breakfast service. Several restaurants are within a 1 km radius, including Pizzeria Antica Porta, Osteria dell'Enoteca, and Il Cuore Ristorante Giapponese, offering options from Italian to Japanese cuisine. The historic centre's many trattorias and cafés are a 20-30 minute walk away.

There is no dedicated wellness facility (pool, spa, or gym) on the property. The main leisure value comes from the large private garden surrounding the villa, which is accessible to guests. The surrounding residential streets are pleasant for walks, and the nearby Piazzale Michelangelo offers iconic panoramic views of Florence - a popular spot for an evening drink after the walk back uphill.
