B&B CIVICO 40, Milan

The property is within a 5-minute walk of Milano Centrale station, giving immediate access to metro lines, trains, and buses to Malpensa and Linate airports. The surrounding streets offer several restaurants, a minimarket, and a tram stop outside. The area is well-connected for car-free city exploration, though the streets can be busy and the immediate neighbourhood has mixed perceptions regarding safety at night. Bosco Verticale and the Porta Nuova business district are within a 15-20 minute walk.

Accommodation ranges from double and twin rooms to larger doubles with a dressing room. All rooms feature parquet or tiled floors, heating, and a work desk. Shared bathrooms are available in several room categories, so travellers preferring an en suite should select a private-bathroom option. Road-facing rooms and those near the tram line can be noisy, making earplugs or a room away from the street a practical choice for light sleepers. Some units offer access to a terrace. The property is older and basic in style, better suited to travellers prioritising location and price over modern decor.

There is no restaurant or bar at B&B Civico 40, so all meals require advance planning. The shared kitchen allows guests to prepare their own food, and a minimarket on site stocks basics for self-catering. For eating out, several restaurants, pizzerias, and a sushi bar are within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast, if included in the rate, is a simple self-service offering in the room (coffee pods and a packaged pastry); guests expecting a full buffet should confirm inclusions directly with the property.
