Hotel Details

Location

An 8-minute walk from Basilica San Marco and 800 m from Doge's Palace, in a quieter residential area.
The B&B is set on a quiet canal away from the main tourist crowds, yet within a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The nearest vaporetto stop (San Zaccaria) is a 3-minute walk, providing direct connections to Santa Lucia train station and Marco Polo Airport. Eight restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket are within 300 m. Boating tours and local cultural classes are available nearby.

Dining

Self-service breakfast with homemade cappuccino in the shared kitchen; no restaurant on site.
Breakfast is served in the family kitchen and includes a variety of breads, pastries, homemade orange marmalade, fresh juice, coffee from a Bialetti or Nespresso, and tea. It is a self-service affair where guests often sit together. For lunch or dinner, eight restaurants are within a 3-minute walk, including Trattoria da Denis and Osteria Oliva Nera Venetia. A nearby coffee shop (Pasticceria Chiusso) is also recommended for an excellent cappuccino.

Amenities

Free WiFi, free luggage storage, 24-hour reception, daily housekeeping, and room service.
Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Luggage storage is offered free of charge, useful for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping includes bed making and replenishing bottled water. The 24-hour front desk handles late check-in requests; the host speaks several languages. A minimarket, coffee shop, and hairdresser are on site. Babysitting/child services and bicycle rental are available for an additional fee. Fax/photocopying is free.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book the Genitori or Marco room if you prefer a balcony; both offer city views over a canal.

  • 02

Choose the Nonni room to guarantee a private ensuite bathroom.

  • 03

Take the vaporetto from Santa Lucia station to San Zaccaria, then walk 10 minutes to the B&B.

  • 04

Use the free luggage storage if you arrive before check-in at 11:00 or after check-out at 11:00.
