BEDFORD PLACE HOSTELS, London

Situated on a quiet residential street in Bloomsbury, the property offers excellent access to London's cultural and commercial centres. The British Museum is a short walk away, and both Russell Square and Tottenham Court Road Underground stations are within 10 minutes on foot, providing direct links to the West End and the City. Major attractions such as Oxford Street (1 km), the Dominion Theatre (less than 1 km), and Covent Garden are easily reached on foot or by a short bus or Tube ride. Euston Station is 1 km away, making connections to national rail services straightforward. The neighbourhood feels safe and quiet at night, with several supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk.

The property offers a range of room types in shared apartments: single rooms (1 single bed), double rooms (2 single beds), triple rooms (3 single beds), and larger apartments (with 5 beds across two rooms). Each room is lockable and has its own key. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, seating area, tea and coffee making facilities, and electric kettle. There is no air conditioning, and some rooms have windows that open only a few centimetres, so can become warm in summer. Sound insulation between rooms and from the street is minimal, and the old building can creak. The bathrooms are shared between the rooms in the apartment - typically two rooms (sometimes three) sharing one or two bathrooms. In some apartments, each room has a designated lockable bathroom, creating more privacy. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dining area, and is shared by all guests in the apartment.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities such as a gym, spa, pool, or games room. The accommodation's strength lies in its central location, with parks (Russell Square) and green spaces within walking distance. The British Museum is directly opposite, and West End theatres, shops, and entertainment venues are accessible on foot or by a short public transport ride.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. The 24-hour reception can assist with luggage storage before check-in or after check-out at no extra cost. The building has laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers, sometimes free). Security features include 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas and outside the property, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, key card access, and security alarms. Only adults (18+) are accommodated. The property is non-smoking throughout. There is no parking available. A washing machine is provided in the apartment. Additional services: towels and bed linen are provided, and hair dryers can be borrowed from reception if needed.
