BEST WESTERN CORPUS CHRISTI, Corpus Christi

The hotel sits directly on Shoreline Boulevard, offering views of the marina and bay. It is less than 2 km from the American Bank Center, a 10-minute drive from the Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington Museum, and a short drive from the beaches of Padre Island. The area is very walkable: Water Street Oyster Bar is across the street, and other dining options are within 0.5 km. However, the hotel is on the north side of the bridge, so driving to attractions south of the bay is necessary. The frontage road offers easy access to the freeway. Parking is secure and costs US$20 per night, with a 24-hour security presence. For those without a car, the location is central but a taxi or ride-share is recommended for destinations like the Concrete Street Amphitheater (20-30 minutes on foot).

Breakfast is a plentiful hot buffet with eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, tacos, and other rotating items, served from 09:00 to 10:00 on the top floor. The breakfast room offers panoramic views of the bay and marina. For afternoon or evening dining, Marty McPies Pizzeria on the ground floor serves American and pizza options with vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices; it is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The Grandview Lounge on the 11th floor is open Monday to Saturday from 17:00 to midnight, serving drinks with the same stunning views. For additional dining, many restaurants-including Water Street Oyster Bar, Aka Sushi Downtown, and others-are within a 5-minute walk along the waterfront.

The outdoor pool is open seasonally (typically summer months) and closes at 22:00 daily. It is a deep 2.7 m pool, and pool/beach towels are provided. Guests should note that the pool area has no shade, so it can be very hot on sunny days. The free fitness centre is open 24 hours. For leisure, the hotel offers a shared lounge/TV area. A range of paid activities can be arranged nearby, including bike tours, fishing, golf (within 3 km), and windsurfing. Evening entertainment, happy hour, and nightclub/DJ are available at the hotel or nearby. There is no spa, jacuzzi, or sauna on the property.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and express check-in/out. Free luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. On-site parking costs US$20 per day and is secure with overnight security; accessible parking spaces are provided. Laundry facilities (washers and dryers) are available for an additional charge. The business centre is free and includes fax/photocopying. Daily housekeeping is included; dry cleaning can be arranged for a fee. Safety features include key card access, smoke alarms, and safety deposit boxes. The hotel has a lift and is wheelchair accessible with facilities for disabled guests on the second floor. Bingo, live music/performances, live sport events (broadcast), and an ATM are available.
