The tram stop Bertramka in front connects to lines that reach Old Town Square, St. Vitus Cathedral, and the main railway station without changing. Anděl metro station and a large shopping centre are just one tram stop away, offering groceries, restaurants, and public transport to the airport. Several restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk: Hospudka Cihelna, U Zvonu, Tajmahal Express, and Monte Christo Bar are all within 0.3-0.5 km. The neighbourhood is practical rather than picturesque, with good walkability for daytime errands but noticeable street and tram noise affecting rooms on the road side. Taxi to the old town costs roughly 200-500 CZK. Vaclav Havel Airport is 13 km away.

Most rooms have air conditioning (available on request for Superior Double Rooms) and a heating system that may not run full power overnight. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries; a few have low water pressure. Beds are generally comfortable, though some mattresses and pillows can be firm. The family room offers five beds, the quadruple three, the triple two, and the twin two single beds. Rooms are spacious for the price, especially quadruple and family units, but double rooms can feel compact for two people. Each unit includes soundproofed walls, a seating area, a wardrobe, a desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and streaming apps, and, in some rooms, a mini fridge. Road-facing rooms can be loud due to trams and construction; quiet inner-courtyard rooms are recommended for light sleepers. There are no balconies.
