BOLOGNAROOMSCOM - VILLA BOTTRIGARI, Bologna

The apartment is situated on a tree-lined street in a calm, well-maintained residential area, approximately a 20-minute walk to Bologna's historic heart. Piazza Maggiore and MAMbo are 2 km away, Quadrilatero Bologna and Santa Maria della Vita about 2 km. The location offers a peaceful night's sleep while keeping the Duomo, shops, and restaurants within a 10-15 minute stroll. Bus stops are right on the doorstep, making car-free exploration straightforward. Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is 10 km away - a taxi costs roughly €16-20, or the airport train plus a short walk. Several restaurants, a gelateria, a pharmacy, and a supermarket are within 0.5 km, adding daily convenience.

The property offers a range of units from studios to a large 5-bedroom holiday home, all recently renovated. Each apartment features a separate living room, a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware), a private bathroom with shower or bath, a washing machine, soundproof walls, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Some units include a terrace with outdoor furniture, a hot tub, or a spa bath. Bed sizes vary - king-size beds, double beds, and sofa beds are available, with extra pillows and blankets provided. Apartments are generally spacious and well decorated, though the smallest units can feel compact for more than two people. Internal noise can occur between apartments due to the building's older structure; road-facing rooms are quieter thanks to the residential setting. Natural light varies - some apartments overlook an inner courtyard and are darker, while others have good light and balcony access. The entrance is step-free via a lift, but the apartment door itself has a small step. Note that some units have a single open-plan sleeping area rather than separate bedrooms; check the configuration when booking.

There is no restaurant, bar, or breakfast included in the stay. Instead, every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine, and all cookware and utensils - ideal for preparing meals and longer stays. Several cafés, restaurants, gelaterias, and a supermarket are within 0.5 km (e.g., Gelateria Costa 39, Fortuna, Osteria la Frasca Bologna), and a grocery store is a short walk away. The neighbourhood itself offers a good selection of dining options, making it easy to eat out or stock the kitchen without needing to travel far.

Several units feature either a hot tub on an enclosed terrace or a spa bath in the bathroom, adding a relaxing element to the stay. These are private to the apartment and not shared facilities. The property also offers outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area for enjoying the courtyard or balcony. The surrounding area offers rafting activities, though these are not part of the property's own amenities. There is no shared pool, gym, or common wellness area.

WiFi is available throughout and free of charge. Private parking costs €25.90/day and must be reserved in advance; the spot is tight, so a small car is easier. Street parking (blue zone) is free from 19:00 to 08:00 and available nearby. A lift serves the apartments, though there is a small step at the entrance. Luggage storage is free, useful for late arrivals or post-check-out sightseeing. Concierge service, express check-in/out, and a locker system are available. Daily housekeeping is optional at an additional charge. Grocery deliveries can be arranged. The property is non-smoking throughout and has soundproof rooms. Accessibility features include accessible parking and a lift. Pets are allowed (charges may apply). Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, MasterCard.
