B.S. COURT HOTEL SATHORN, Bangkok

Set on Soi Prapinit off Suan Phlu Road, the hotel is in a peaceful lane yet minutes from Bangkok's business core. Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain and Lumphini MRT subway are each a 10-minute walk away, giving direct access to Silom, Sukhumvit and the city centre. About 300 metres along Suan Phlu Road you'll find plenty of affordable food stalls, local restaurants, and a couple of bars. Lumphini Park is within walking distance - ideal for a morning run or taichi. The location is quiet at night, with minimal street noise, and a 40-minute drive to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

All 30 units combine Thai and Japanese design elements: tatami mats in the living room, Japanese art in the corridors, and warm, welcoming interiors. Rooms are large and clean, with a separate bedroom, living room, and a fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, fridge, electric kettle, utensils). Bathrooms are private, with good water pressure and available bathtub or hot tub in certain room types. Beds are firm king-size doubles (no twin beds available). Each room has air conditioning, cable TV, a safety deposit box, hairdryer and slippers. While the decor is older and slightly worn in places, it is well maintained and clean. Some rooms have a smaller frosted window; all rooms have a window. No rooms have a balcony.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service in the hotel. Each unit has a full kitchenette with microwave, fridge, electric kettle and utensils, so preparing simple meals is straightforward. Immediately outside the hotel, Suan Phlu Road offers a wide variety of cheap food stalls and restaurants including Holey Bakery, Baan Khanitha, and Saawaan, all within 300 metres. A minimart at the lobby sells essentials and drinks at reasonable prices.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa or fitness centre. However, Lumphini Park is a 10-minute walk away, offering jogging paths, taichi areas, and open green space. The quiet surrounding streets are also suitable for early morning walks. For those who prefer leisure in the room, select double rooms feature a private hot tub.

Wi-Fi is available free throughout the hotel - in rooms and lobby. Free private parking (including motorbike parking) is provided on site with no reservation needed. The 24-hour front desk staff are known for being warm and helpful; they can store luggage after checkout at no charge. Daily housekeeping is free and includes linen and towel changes.
