BUFALINI BOUTIQUE APARTMENT, Florence

The apartment is literally 150 metres from Florence's iconic Duomo, making it an ideal base for exploring the historic centre on foot. Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and the central market are within easy walking distance. Florence Airport is 11 km away; Santa Maria Novella station is a comfortable walk. Taxi stands are nearby, and a public parking garage (€35/day) is just 100 metres from the door. The street is safe and central, and the area is packed with dining options - from gelato at Studio Gelato (0.5 km) to trattorias like Trattoria Za Za (0.5 km).

The apartment combines a traditional Florentine shell (very high ceilings, large windows, parquet floors) with a completely modern interior. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a walk-in closet; the living room sofa converts into an extra bed. The kitchen comes with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and a tea/coffee maker. The bathroom is spacious with a large shower, strong water pressure, and plenty of hot water. The unit is air-conditioned, soundproofed, and very quiet despite its central location - though light sleepers on weekend nights may still hear some street noise. A manual in the apartment explains how to use the washing machine and lists the host's recommended local places.

The kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and cookware, making self-catering easy for longer stays or families. For dining out, the immediate area is dense with options: Bistrot 74 (0.5 km), Mordilatte (0.5 km), Trattoria Za Za (0.5 km), Rosalia Salad (0.5 km), Mister Pizza (0.5 km) and more. The host also provides a personal guide book with their own recommended restaurants and bars near the apartment.
