CA' ROBERTA, Venice

The apartment is only a short walk from the Riva de Biasio vaporetto stop (line 1 that runs the entire Grand Canal and reaches Lido Beach), and also close to the airport bus stop. Major landmarks such as Basilica San Marco and Piazza San Marco are 2 km away. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 13 km from the property. The quiet street ensures good sleep despite being near the station, but early morning rubbish collection (starting around 04:00) can be noisy. A well-stocked supermarket is located a few minutes' walk for daily essentials.

The unit features a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. A private entrance, soundproof walls, tea and coffee maker, flat-screen TV, and garden views are included. The bathroom includes free toiletries, a bath, and a hand-held shower attachment, but is noted as lacking a shower screen or towel hooks, making showering a careful process. The floor is parquet (living areas) and stone (bathroom), which can feel cold in cooler months. The apartment has heating, but no air conditioning or fans; mosquito nets are provided on windows. Some living-room sofas and mattress covers have visible stains. The bathroom is noted for a persistent sewer odour and mould on walls and curtains. Bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The apartment is accessed via stairs.

Guests can use the kitchen's stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware to prepare meals. The kitchen is noted as lacking a coffee machine (despite marketing mentions), and only basic, used cookware is available. Within 300-500 metres are Trattoria Al Ponte del Megio, Panini Lampo, Pizzeria Trattoria all'Anfora, Osteria Alba Nova dalla Maria, Antica Bessetta, Il Refolo, and Bar Rosa. Trattoria Bar Pontini is 0.5 km away. For breakfast or a light meal, eating out is a practical option given the limited kitchen supplies.

The quiet street setting offers a peaceful retreat from Venice's busy tourist areas. Guests can use the nearby vaporetto stop (Riva de Biasio) for trips along the Grand Canal and to Lido Beach (line 1). Supermarkets and shopping are within a few minutes' walk. No dedicated leisure facilities are available on-site, but the apartment's spacious layout and garden views provide a comfortable base for relaxation after a day out.

The apartment includes soundproofed rooms, heating, and a locker for luggage (no permanent baggage storage). A flat-screen TV and free toiletries are provided. Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and key access. Housekeeping is not included during the stay. The property has no lift (stairs only). Payment can be made by American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, CartaSi, or MasterCard. The apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking throughout.
