CASA ALDINI, Rome

The Marconi neighbourhood offers a calm, safe base with local shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants right at the doorstep. A bakery is visible from the balcony, and a pizzeria is adjacent. Transport connections are strong: bus lines 170 (to the Colosseum area) and 781 run every 10 minutes from stops just around the corner, reaching the historic centre in 15-20 minutes. Trastevere station, 10 minutes away on foot or two bus stops, provides direct FL1 train service to Fiumicino Airport (27 minutes) and connections to Vatican and central Rome. The Roman Forum and Colosseum are within a short bus ride.

The layout places bedrooms to either side of the central kitchen and bathroom for privacy. Each bedroom has air conditioning and a comfortable double bed; the living area includes a sofa bed, accommodating up to five people. The bathroom includes both a bath and a shower, plus a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, and all cookware. The flat-screen TV supports streaming services, and the two balconies are furnished for dining or relaxing. The property is exceptionally clean and quiet at night, ideal for couples, families, or two couples travelling together.

The kitchen is stocked with an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, kettle, and cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. A supermarket and a fresh produce market are nearby for groceries. At least one highly recommended restaurant is visible from the balcony and within 100 metres. Gelato shops, bistros, and casual dining options are all under a 5-minute walk. A welcome gift of wine, sweets, coffee, and water is provided upon arrival.

While there is no pool, spa, or gym, the two balconies provide private outdoor space for morning coffee or evening wine. The Marconi district itself is walkable and safe, with local streets and a market to explore. For leisure, board games and puzzles are available in the apartment.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Free public parking is available off-site nearby without reservation. The building has a lift for easy access, and the entrance is secured with key access and smoke alarms. There is a minimarket on site for basics. A laundry washing machine is inside the apartment. The hosts are consistently responsive and available, offering early check-in when possible, local recommendations, and even airport taxi arrangements.
