CHARLIE'S HOTEL CANNES, Cannes

The hotel sits on a pedestrian-friendly street in central Cannes, putting the Croisette, harbour, and shopping street Rue d'Antibes all within easy walking distance. The train station is 100 m away, offering direct connections to Nice Airport (about 30 minutes by train) and other Riviera destinations. For those arriving by car, the closest public parking is 200 m from the hotel (at the train station car park, approx. 25€/24h). The lively restaurant and bar district is immediately around the corner, with at least seven dining options within 300 m. The location eliminates the need for a car during the stay, as most attractions, beaches, and conference venues are accessible on foot.

Rooms feature modern en suite facilities with a shower or bath, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Each room includes air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, and a minibar. Soundproofed walls and double glazing help reduce street and hallway noise, though some rooms facing the road may still pick up ambient city sounds. Rooms are described as compact and functional, with limited floor space - ideal for solo travellers or couples who prioritise location over spaciousness. Some rooms have inner courtyard views, which tend to be quieter, while street-facing rooms offer city views. Note that no rooms have balconies or dedicated closets; a small wardrobe and desk are provided. Basic double rooms may use two single beds pushed together; confirming bed configuration at booking is recommended for couples.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cereal, fruit salad, hot drinks, and juice. The buffet area is compact with limited seating, and breakfast is served from early morning. An in-room breakfast option is also available. The hotel has a bar and a coffee shop on site, and wine/champagne can be ordered for an additional charge. For a full meal, the surrounding streets offer numerous restaurants within a 3-minute walk, covering French, Italian, and international cuisine. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or dinner service, so dining outside the property is the norm for evening meals.

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, gym, or wellness centre. For leisure, the beach is 400 m away and can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. The area offers a range of activities: hiking, walking tours, canoeing, snorkelling, windsurfing, and live sport events (some free, some for an additional cost). Bicycles can be rented locally, and the hotel allows guests to store bicycles in the reception area. The sun terrace and outdoor furniture provide a simple spot to relax outside the room.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all public areas and rooms. The 24-hour front desk provides concierge service, express check-in/check-out, and a tour desk. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out, and bicycle storage is available in the reception area. Daily housekeeping is included, with additional laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services available (charges apply). Pets are allowed with applicable charges; pet bowls are provided. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and heated, has a lift, and offers allergy-free and soundproofed rooms. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, and safety deposit boxes (available for Superior and Privilege rooms). Board games and babysitting/child services are available on request. The property does not have its own parking, but the nearest public car park is 200 m away.
