The residence sits in a safe yet lively area with easy access to the Marais, Bastille, and Gare de Lyon on foot (20-30 minutes). Parmentier Metro station is directly across the street, giving direct connections across Paris including a 35-40 minute journey to the Eiffel Tower via line 9. Nearby streets Rue Oberkampf and the surrounding area are filled with bakeries, cafés, bars, supermarkets (Monoprix, Lidl), and restaurants, all within a few minutes' walk. The neighbourhood feels safe and lively, though solo travellers may prefer daytime return routes. For airport transfers, take Metro line 3 or use Uber/taxis.

Accommodation ranges from studios for two to one-bedroom apartments for four (one bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room). Each unit features a flat-screen TV, safe, telephone, free Wi-Fi, and a kitchenette with hotplates, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, and utensils. Beds are comfortable; sofa beds are also noted as comfortable. Room sizes are spacious for Paris standards, with some top-floor rooms offering city views. Many rooms have been recently renovated and are very clean. Noise from street-facing rooms can be significant; quieter rooms are available on higher floors or at the rear. There is no air conditioning - only fans - and heating is electric. Windows open but cannot tilt for airflow when away.

The buffet breakfast is offered daily for €19 per person. A more basic takeaway option is available for €7. Dining facilities are limited to the breakfast room and a lobby coffee/tea machine (free for all residents). There is no on-site restaurant or bar. Guests can prepare full meals using the in-room kitchenette. The surrounding area is exceptionally well supplied with bakeries, cafés, and restaurants within a 2-minute walk, offering plenty of variety for lunch and dinner.

No wellness or leisure facilities are available on site. The property does, however, offer a shared lounge/TV area and a terrace.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. A 24-hour front desk provides secure key-card access, a safety deposit box, and luggage storage at no extra charge. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional fee; a coin-operated laundry is also in the basement (approx. €5 wash, €4 dry). Private on-site parking costs €35 per day with a height limit of 1.90 m and length limit of 4.57 m; it is narrow and cannot be reserved. A baby cot can be provided on request, but no extra beds. Wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are available upon request subject to availability. The property has a lift, and is non-smoking throughout. Grocery deliveries can be arranged for an extra charge.
