Hotel Details

Location

Set in a quiet residential quarter just 7 minutes on foot from St. Mark's Square and 700 metres from Rialto Bridge, in the historic heart of Venice.
The inn is located in a central yet peaceful alley, well away from tourist crowds. All major landmarks are within a short, scenic walk. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 17 km away, and Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station 2 km. Two entrances provide access from the canal or on foot. A private boat taxi can drop off directly at the hotel's own canal-side mooring. The surrounding streets offer several restaurants and cafés within 300 metres.

Accommodation

Family rooms and private rooms with air conditioning, minibar, flat-screen TV, and modern bathrooms. Some rooms overlook the garden or canal.
Rooms are spacious and decorated with antique furniture and art, matching the historic character of the building. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and bidet. Soundproofed walls ensure a quiet night's sleep. Room categories include single, double, triple, and family rooms with sofa beds. First-floor rooms involve one flight of stairs. The accommodation feels more like a historic palace than a standard hotel, with comfortable beds and high ceilings.

Dining

Complimentary coffee and warm croissants are served each morning, but no full breakfast or restaurant is available.
A free coffee and croissant is offered daily, served in the elegant lounge, in the garden, or at tables by the canal. There is no hot breakfast buffet or formal restaurant. For lunch or dinner, there are numerous eateries within a 5-minute walk, including pizzerias and traditional Venetian trattorias. The host provides personalised recommendations for local restaurants.

Leisure

The property features a garden, outdoor furniture, and a shared canal-side lounge. Free walking tours and culture classes are offered.
The inn's leisure spaces are a highlight: a shared lounge at canal level with doors opening onto the water, a peaceful garden, and a courtyard. Guests can sit outdoors to watch gondolas pass. Free activities include walking tours of the city and classes about local culture. Temporary art galleries are also available on site. Board games and outdoor play equipment for children are provided.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi throughout, luggage storage, daily housekeeping, express check-in/out, and a 24-hour security system.
The inn offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and a full security setup with CCTV, alarms, and fire extinguishers. Staff provide daily housekeeping, private check-in/out, and luggage storage for late departures. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, lowered bathroom sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. Business facilities such as meeting rooms and fax/photocopying are available. The property is completely non-smoking throughout.
