Kings Cross Station is about a 5-10 minute uphill walk, providing train and bus connections across the city and to the airport (via Central Station interchange). The Domain Car Park is an 8-minute walk for those arriving by car. The immediate neighbourhood is filled with cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets, including a Woolworths on the next block and a Coles a 10-minute walk away. The area is walkable for most major attractions, though the uphill walk to the station may be tiring for some.

All rooms are private double rooms with a queen bed, designed for couples, solo travellers, or friends seeking more privacy than a dorm. Each room has air conditioning, a sink, a desk, a hairdryer, and towels. The standout feature is an in-room projector with Google Chromecast for streaming. Some rooms include a small fridge. Bathrooms are shared on each floor - there are two showers and two toilets per floor, shared among 4-5 rooms. These are cleaned multiple times daily. Rooms are compact and functional; road-facing rooms can be noisy due to street sounds and hallway noise from other doors. The building does not have a lift, so mobility may be a consideration.

Breakfast is included and served from around 7:00-9:30 AM. It is a continental spread with pastries, bread, cereals, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, juices, milk, tea, and coffee. Some days also include boiled eggs or sausages. Supplies are replenished, but arriving early is recommended for the best selection. The communal kitchen on the second floor is well-equipped with two stoves, microwaves, a dishwasher, pots, utensils, and large fridges for guest food storage. Light cooking (frying, stir-frying, boiling) is allowed; heavy cooking (deep frying, grilling) is not. Friday nights often feature free pizza, a popular perk.

Leisure facilities are modest. There is a rooftop terrace offering city views and a peaceful retreat. Indoors, a shared lounge and TV area provides space to relax. No swimming pool, spa, or gym are on site. Laundry is available on the rooftop with washing machines and a dryer (washing powder not provided). The property does not run organised events or activities at the moment.
