Downtown Bend's dining and nightlife are a 10-minute walk, including Deschutes Brewery and Silver Moon Brewing. Some areas may have transient activity, but the location is central and convenient for exploring the city.

Accommodation ranges from family rooms with bunk beds to triple rooms with pool views and suites with seating areas. All rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, and heating. The motel is two stories with no elevator. Rooms vary in size and layout; some have been renovated, while others show wear. No rooms have balconies. The metal bed frames can be noisy, and walls are thin, so rooms away from stairs and the road are quieter.

Breakfast consists of packaged items such as tangerines, bananas, yogurt, mini muffins, energy bars, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. No hot breakfast is available. There is no restaurant on site, but a Mexican food truck operates in the parking lot, and dozens of restaurants and breweries are within a 5-minute walk, including Pizza Hut, The Breakfast Club, and Deschutes Brewery.

The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub operate during summer months only. The hot tub closes at 10:00 p.m. and may not reach high temperatures. The pool area can be busy with children. The fitness centre offers basic exercise equipment. Off-site activities include hiking, cycling, and skiing, with Mount Bachelor a 30-minute drive away.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk can assist with early/late check-in requests (not guaranteed). A business centre and safety deposit boxes are available free of charge.
