The Design Club Collection is set in a historic building on a quiet street, yet just 2-3 minutes' walk from the main streets and around 10 minutes on foot from Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers, and the main museums and churches. Bologna Central Station is about 1 km away (a 12-minute walk). Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is 7 km from the property; airport shuttle service is available through the booking platform. The Galleria Cavour luxury shopping street, Quadrilatero (food market), and numerous restaurants and cafés are all within a short walk. On-street parking is in a ZTL zone, but you can drive in to unload then park in a nearby garage. The area is walkable for all major sites, and the location is both central and quiet.

Each apartment is individually decorated with iconic pieces from designers such as Le Corbusier, Jacobsen, Castiglioni, and Starck, combining aesthetic quality with practical use. Units range from studios (approx. 30 m2) to larger one- or two-bedroom apartments with separate living rooms, some with mezzanine bedrooms. Many apartments feature a fully equipped kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, kitchenware, microwave, and tea/coffee maker. Some apartments include a private balcony or a double Jacuzzi. All units are air-conditioned, soundproofed, and have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with streaming services, and private bathrooms with shower or bathtub. Interior conditions vary: some units are described as spacious, clean, and modern, while others have reported issues such as poor lighting, uncomfortable sofa beds, or wear on fixtures. Rooms facing the street may experience noise from the area, whereas courtyard-facing units tend to be quieter. For a quieter stay, choose a unit away from the street and lift.

The property offers a breakfast delivery service where an order can be placed with a nearby café, with items delivered in disposable cups and containers. There is no restaurant or bar within the building. Several restaurants, wine bars, and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, including Acca Vineria, Il Cortile Cafe, and E' cucina Leopardi (all 0.5 km), plus the Quadrilatero food market. Grocery and convenience items can be delivered on request (surcharge). For those who prefer to cook, each apartment kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop, microwave, and basic cooking utensils.

Two suites feature in-room Jacuzzis: the Queen Suite has a double-sized Jacuzzi, while the Deluxe Suite has a smaller one for a single person. These are the only wellness facilities on the property - there is no spa, gym, or pool. A golf course is located within 3 km (additional charge), and hiking trails are accessible off-site. The main leisure offering is the immediate walkability to Bologna's historic centre, with museums, churches, and shopping all within a short stroll.
