HAMPTON INN & SUITES NASHVILLE FRANKLIN, Franklin

The hotel sits in the Cool Springs business district, a 20-30-minute drive from downtown Nashville (27 km to attractions like the Johnny Cash Museum and Bridgestone Arena). Numerous dining options are within 0.5 km, including Connors Steak & Seafood, Brewhouse South, and Chick-fil-A. A grocery store and a mall are also within walking distance. For guests arriving by car, the free on-site parking provides easy access to I-65, making the hotel a practical base for exploring both Franklin and Nashville. No airport shuttle is available, so a taxi or rideshare is needed for airport transfers.

Room types include standard double, king, accessible rooms with a bath tub or walk-in shower, and suites with a separate seating area. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a desk and cable TV; TV connectivity has been inconsistent in certain units. For light sleepers, rooms away from the elevator are recommended to avoid elevator and hallway noise. The property is undergoing renovation, so daytime noise may affect rooms on lower floors. Guests needing a microwave can use the public unit next to the front desk in the suite shop. No rooms have balconies, but the outdoor picnic area and sun terrace offer alternative outdoor space.

The breakfast buffet includes both continental and American options, with rotating hot items such as eggs and omelettes. During busy periods, some items may run out, so arriving earlier is advisable. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, but room service offers a limited menu for evening meals, and the minimarket stocks snacks, drinks, and microwaveable items. Dozens of restaurants are within a short walk, including steak, seafood, and casual dining options, giving guests plenty of alternatives without needing to drive.

The heated outdoor pool is typically open from late spring through early autumn, surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and a fenced pool area for safety. The fitness centre is open around the clock and includes cardio machines and free weights. For relaxation, the communal lounge and TV area offer a comfortable indoor space. There is no spa or wellness centre on site. The picnic area and outdoor furniture provide additional leisure space for families.

WiFi is free throughout the property, though some rooms have experienced router issues. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and provides express check-in/check-out. Luggage storage is free for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; dry cleaning and laundry are available for an additional charge. On-site parking is free and does not require a reservation, and includes accessible spots and an electric vehicle charging station. The hotel is wheelchair accessible with elevators on both sides. Additional facilities include a minimarket, vending machines for drinks and snacks, a shared lounge/TV area, and safety features such as CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms.
