DOMUS URBIS, Rome

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential zone, well connected by bus 86 to Conca d'Oro metro station (around 20 minutes by bus, then metro to the centre). Total journey to central Rome averages 40-60 minutes. Taxis and Uber are available for night trips. A shopping mall with a supermarket, cinema, and several pizzerias is adjacent to the hotel, and a Carrefour is two minutes away. The hotel is practical for those with a car, with easy access to the ring road and motorway to Florence.

Accommodation is clean and functional, offering twin or double bed setups (some doubles are two singles pushed together). Rooms include a mini-bar, free toiletries, parquet flooring, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Some rooms have views of a garden. Beds can be firm, and some mattresses may feel uncomfortable; light sleepers should request a room away from corridors to reduce hallway noise. Air conditioning is present but may not always be operational; window opening can bring mosquitoes. Heating is available but may need manual adjustment. The property also offers cots on request.

Breakfast is served as a buffet with a wide selection including croissants, bread, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, and coffee from a machine (espresso also available). The breakfast is well-regarded for its variety and value. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar/lounge area; dinner offers pasta and other Italian dishes, but the menu is limited and may not suit all tastes. The adjacent shopping mall has a supermarket (Carrefour) and several pizzerias within a short walk.

The property features an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal availability should be confirmed with reception), a basketball court, and a football field, making it suitable for families and groups. A garden with benches and trees provides a quiet space to relax. A children's play area is also available. These facilities are a practical addition for those staying longer or travelling with children.

The property offers free Wi-Fi throughout and a 24-hour reception. Private parking is free and does not require reservation, making it ideal for road travellers. An airport shuttle is available (confirm schedule and charges at reception). Luggage storage is available for late departures. A business centre is present. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. The property is non-smoking. Housekeeping provides daily bin emptying and towel changes on request.
