DUOMO SUITES FLORENCE, Florence

The property is tucked just behind the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, putting the Uffizi Gallery (700 m), Accademia Gallery (7-minute walk) and Ponte Vecchio all within easy walking distance. Despite the busy tourist heart, rooms remain unexpectedly quiet. The area is pedestrian-friendly, but car access is restricted in the city centre. Florence Airport is 12 km away; Santa Maria Novella train station is a 10-minute walk. Public tram and taxi stops are close, making baggage-free city exploration simple.

The property offers double rooms, family rooms, studios and apartments. All include a private bathroom with free toiletries. Kitchenettes (kettle, microwave, Nespresso machine) are available in apartments and some studios. Selected suites feature a separate living area, soundproof walls and a private terrace with direct Duomo views. Rooms are spacious for central Florence, with high ceilings that enhance the airy feel. The bed is notably comfortable, and daily housekeeping is included. Some rooms have a mezzanine sleeping area, ideal for families. Blackout curtains and controllable heating help tailor the sleep environment. The overall style is modern and well-decorated.

There is no full restaurant or breakfast service on-site. Each unit is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and complimentary snacks (such as pastries), refreshed daily. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, pizzerias and gelato shops within a two-minute walk - including several well-rated options just 0.5 km away. For a lighter start, many nearby cafés open early. The kitchenette in apartments also allows for self-catering, useful for families or longer stays.

The property operates as an aparthotel with private check-in and check-out. A lift serves all floors, making luggage handling easier. Daily housekeeping is complimentary and includes towel changes. Free WiFi covers all areas. Key-card access and a safety deposit box are available in each room. Luggage storage after checkout is possible in the lobby area (though it is an unsecured open space). There is no parking on-site; driving into the city centre is restricted, but a public garage is accessible with assistance. Coins and branded card payments are accepted. Customer service is available, though some operational procedures (exact check-in time, cash-only deposits) require advance planning.
