EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES - RALEIGH - NORTH RALEIGH - WAKE FOREST ROAD, Raleigh

This Extended Stay is on Wake Forest Road, a major arterial through North Raleigh. It is situated directly across from Duke Raleigh Hospital, making it a practical option for those with hospital-related visits. Multiple dining options are within a short drive: 88 Oaks Carolina Kitchen and Bar (0.5 km), Denny's (0.5 km), Hibachi Japan (0.5 km), and BurgerFi (1 km). A Wegmans grocery store is 1 km away, useful for stocking the in-room kitchen. The property is not within walking distance of downtown Raleigh and is best accessed by car. The parking lot is monitored but is also a known area for loitering, so remove all valuables from your vehicle.

All rooms include a full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and kitchen utensils, plus a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The property is entirely non-smoking, though some rooms have been reported to smell of smoke or cigarettes. The overall condition of the rooms is very poor: past stays have reported rooms that are not cleaned (trash, sticky floors, beard shavings, urine stains, blood-stained pillows and sheets), infested with bed bugs (with visible insects), mold on surfaces, broken blinds that do not close completely, non-functional heaters, and broken satellite TV. The bathroom is often reported as dirty, with a poor quality shower. Room doors in adjacent rooms can be loud. The property has a mix of long-term residents and short-stay guests, leading to a transient and at times unsafe atmosphere. There is no daily housekeeping; cleaning must be requested at the front desk.

Breakfast is available at no extra cost, but it is very limited - typically consisting of pre-packaged items such as pastries, coffee, and juice. There is no full hot breakfast. The in-room kitchen provides a microwave, refrigerator, and cookware, making it possible to prepare simple meals. Guests with specific dietary needs or those wanting a more substantial meal will find a Wegmans grocery store 1 km away and several quick-service restaurants within a short drive (Denny's, BurgerFi, Hibachi Japan). The hotel itself does not have an on-site restaurant or bar; the bar/lounge area is merely a seating space adjacent to the front desk.
