FAIRFIELD INN GREENVILLE SPARTANBURG AIRPORT, Greenville

The property sits directly off Interstate 85, making it convenient for travellers heading to or from the airport (6 km) and for exploring Greenville. A short walk (0.3-0.5 km) reaches a wide variety of dining options including Acropolis Restaurant, Bacon Bros. Public House, Sidewall Pizza Company, and Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe, as well as a Walmart and CVS pharmacy. Local attractions such as Roper Mountain Science Center (6 km), Frankie S Fun Park (7 km), and Greenville Zoo (13 km) are within a short drive. The free airport shuttle and ample free parking make this location especially practical for air travellers.

Rooms range from triple rooms to family rooms and studios, with configurations of 1 or 2 beds (some rooms include a couch). Each room features a work desk, heating, and a hairdryer. No rooms have balconies. Some rooms are larger-such as the king rooms with a sitting area-while others are more compact. Maintenance and cleanliness can vary: some rooms have been noted for musty odour, carpet wear, cracked tiles, or noisy air conditioning units. Rooms near the elevator or facing the road may experience more noise. Requesting a room away from high-traffic areas and ensuring the AC unit is in good condition can improve comfort. The property is older in style and would benefit from renovation, but beds are generally comfortable and linens are plentiful.

Breakfast is served each morning and offers both hot (pancakes, scrambled eggs) and cold options (yogurt, fruit, cereal, pastries). The selection is adequate for a quick start, though some travellers find it basic and limited in variety. No restaurant or bar operates on-site, but the hotel's location provides immediate access to a broad range of cuisines within a short walk - from pizza and Mediterranean to Southern-style and fast food. Vending machines with snacks and drinks are available in the hotel for convenience.

The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is reported to be clean and warm when in use. A sun terrace surrounds the pool area. The fitness centre is free and provides basic equipment for a workout. No spa or wellness centre is on-site. The pool and gym offer practical leisure options for short stays and transit travellers.

The free airport shuttle operates from 4:10am to midnight; advance reservation is recommended to ensure availability. Parking is free and on-site, with no reservation needed, and guests can leave their car during multi-day trips. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, safety deposit boxes, and an ATM on site. A business centre with fax/photocopying is free, and meeting/banquet facilities are available at an additional charge. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and heated, has a lift, and is wheelchair accessible. No pets are allowed. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are located on the premises. Some areas, such as the parking lot lighting and elevator condition, have been noted as needing attention.
