FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES MEMPHIS I-240 & PERKINS, Memphis

The hotel sits on the I-240 corridor, providing quick access to major Memphis attractions. Graceland is a 15-minute drive, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music is 14 km away, and the Memphis Zoo is 15 km from the property. The Memphis Events Center in Liberty Park is also nearby. The immediate area is not pedestrian-friendly; most dining and entertainment options require a car. The neighborhood has security concerns, reflected in the hotel's 1.8-meter perimeter fence and locked gate at night, which assures a sense of security for those arriving by car. For airport arrivals, a taxi or rideshare is necessary; drive time to the terminal is about 10 minutes in light traffic.

Room types include standard king and queen suites, with the king suites offering a sofa bed. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and a private bathroom. Bathrooms have walk-in showers (some with a bathtub seat and grab rails), and accessibility features include roll-in showers, transfer showers, and lower deadbolts. The decor and furnishings are dated, with limited power outlets - none near the bed or desk in many rooms. Windows open, but road-facing rooms on lower floors can experience traffic noise. The room size is compact, and older maintenance issues include cracked caulk, loose shower doors, and stained carpets. The bed quality is generally comfortable, with some reports of stained sheets.

The fitness center is open 24 hours and contains an elliptical, 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, and dumbbells up to 23 kg. No towels or wipes are provided in the gym - guests should bring their own. The outdoor pool is drained and not in use, and has not been operational for several years. No jacuzzi or spa facilities are available on site. Golf is available within 3 km at a separate course.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, mobile key, and digital check-in. Business services include a free business center with fax/photocopying. Parking is free on site, with accessible spots and street parking; the lot is gated and locked overnight. There is a small minimarket for convenience items. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. Housekeeping is not automatic - guests must request room servicing at the front desk. The property has a lift and is non-smoking throughout. Pets are not allowed. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, UnionPay credit card, and MasterCard.
