HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON SOUTHWIND - HACKS CROSS, Memphis

The hotel sits near the Southwind area, with easy access to major highways. It is 22 km from Graceland and within driving distance of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and Memphis Zoo. The immediate area is walkable to several chain restaurants (China Dragon and KFC within 0.5 km), a grocery store, and a Walmart. Free on-site parking is abundant and does not require a reservation, making this location suitable for road-trippers or those with a car.

All rooms are suites with a separate living area, a fully equipped kitchen including a full-sized refrigerator, cooktop stove, microwave, dishwasher, and utensils. Bedding options include a king bed, a sofa bed, and rollaways are available on request. Bathtubs are available in some rooms. The furniture is dated and worn; upholstery on chairs and sofas often peels, and carpets may show wear or stains. The overall cleanliness level is mixed, with some complaints about dirty floors and bathrooms. Guests should expect an older room condition and be prepared for potential noise from neighbors and hallways.

The complimentary breakfast includes a variety of hot and cold items such as full English and Irish buffet choices, along with cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Breakfast hours are from 6:00 AM. The selection can be inconsistent, with occasional shortages. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, but the surrounding area provides several dining and grocery options within a short drive.

The hotel provides free standard Wi-Fi throughout, but connection reliability may vary. A 24-hour front desk can assist with express check-in/out, luggage storage, and grocery deliveries. On-site coin-operated laundry machines are available. The property features accessible parking and rooms with wheelchair accessibility, including grab bars in bathrooms. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge.
