The hotel is located in a dense part of Deira, not on a main road. The surrounding streets are narrow and can be difficult to find by car or taxi. There is no parking on site. A construction site opposite the hotel operates day and night, creating continuous noise. A mosque in the area broadcasts prayer calls from early morning. Many small restaurants and cafes are within a 5-minute walk, including The Gourmet Shop, Filli Cafe and Liyari, each about 300 metres away. The area is busy at night and may feel uncomfortable for some travellers. Public transport is not directly at the door, but taxis are available.

Room types include double, twin, triple and quadruple options, all with a private bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, seating area and wardrobe. Rooms are generally small and basic. The carpets are often dirty and may have an unpleasant smell. Bathrooms can be very small with poor water pressure and leaking showers. Some rooms have broken light fixtures, non-adjustable coolers that leak water, and stained or old bedding. Noise is a significant issue: street traffic, construction, other guests and mosque calls. Windows are not well sealed. A few rooms have a dressing area, tumble dryer and safe. Daily cleaning is not automatic and must be requested at reception. Bedbugs and cockroaches have been reported, making careful choice essential.

Breakfast provided by the hotel is very basic: two slices of bread with a smear of jam, a cold hard-boiled egg, a few pieces of fruit and tea in a small foam cup. No butter, salt or pepper are included. The hotel snack bar may not be operational, so guests should be prepared to source meals elsewhere. Many small restaurants and cafes are within a 300-500 metre walk, including The Gourmet Shop, Filli Cafe, and several biryani and kebab options. The surrounding area also offers a few grocery delivery services for those who prefer to prepare their own food.
