GARNET INN & SUITES, Orlando

The hotel is located in a commercial zone of Orlando, offering easy car access to the airport and major roads. Free parking eliminates the need for a reservation. For meals, Waffle House is 0.5 km away, Dunkin' 0.5 km, and Swede Dish 1 km on foot. The area is best navigated by car; public transport options are limited. The immediate surroundings have a mix of roadside businesses but are not pedestrian-oriented at night.

Accommodations include family rooms with air conditioning, heating, carpeted floors, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi. Each room has a sitting area, dining table, tea and coffee facilities, and an ironing board. Bathrooms are small but equipped with grab rails. However, the property has ongoing issues with humidity causing mold, pests (including cockroaches and bedbugs), and wear such as stained carpets and worn mattresses. Towels and toiletries are provided but are limited in quantity and quality. There is no elevator, requiring stair access to upper floors. Some rooms have a sliding glass door secured shut. Beds have a dipped center. Non-smoking rooms and a designated smoking area are available.

The complimentary breakfast is served daily from 6:30 and consists of packaged mini muffins, daily waffles, and brewed coffee (often stale). There are no eggs, bacon, or other hot items. For other meals, the hotel has no restaurant, but nearby Waffle House (0.5 km), Dunkin' (0.5 km), and Swede Dish (1 km) offer alternatives. Tea and coffee facilities are available in rooms for in-room preparation.

The recreational facilities include a swimming pool and a separate kids' pool with sun loungers; both are clean and enjoyable. A free fitness centre is available along with beauty services (manicure, pedicure, waxing, makeup) and a foot bath. The garden and outdoor furniture provide additional relaxation space. Some wellness services may incur an additional charge.

The hotel offers 24-hour front desk service, free WiFi in rooms, and free on-site parking with no reservation needed. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge; for consistency, request at reception. A business centre is available free for guest use. Luggage storage and laundry services are available for an additional charge. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, accessible parking, and bathrooms with grab rails. The property is equipped with CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. Note: there is no elevator. All children are welcome with free stays for up to 4 children under 18 using existing beds; no cots or extra beds available.
