GCE HOTELES, Malaga

The hotel is set in Estación de Cártama, about 15 km from Málaga Airport and 10 minutes' drive from the Andalusia Technology Park. The Cártama train station is a 5-minute walk away, offering direct services to Málaga and Benalmádena - ideal for car-free exploration. For the airport, take bus 131 and connect with train C1. The A357 motorway provides easy access for drivers. Several bars and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Note that the hotel sits opposite an industrial slaughterhouse, which can produce strong smells and noise, especially on the street-facing side. Rooms at the back of the property offer a quieter and more pleasant environment.

The rooms come with a work desk, heating, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services in some suites. Bed options include extra-large double beds, singles, and twin setups. Some rooms have a private terrace or patio. The property includes family rooms and offers cots on request. While rooms are generally clean and comfortable for the price, the street-facing side suffers from noise and smell from the slaughterhouse. Back-facing rooms are quieter. Single and twin room showers are compact; suite bathrooms are more spacious. No rooms have a balcony or a minibar/fridge. The lift serves all floors.

The breakfast includes regional and organic products, juices, bread, cold cuts, cereals, and freshly brewed coffee. The bar offers drinks in the evening. No restaurant is on site, but several cafés, bars, and restaurants are within a few minutes' walk on Calle la Estación. Breakfast variety is limited; for a fuller morning meal, the nearby cafés provide more options. The hotel offers a breakfast-to-go service for early departures.

The property has a 24-hour reception desk (staffed until 22:00). Late arrivals can use virtual check-in with pre-arranged key access. Private parking costs €10/day (reservation needed). Free street parking is also often available within 100-200 m. There is a bicycle storage area in the parking garage. Pets are accepted on request at €30/day. The hotel provides a lift, facilities for disabled guests, and outdoor furniture on the terrace. Services include a coffee house on site, fax/photocopying, safety features (CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers), and a tour desk for luggage storage.
