GLADSTONE LODGE, London

Gladstone Lodge sits in a serene neighbourhood of Cricklewood, offering a restful base while keeping central London reachable. The area is well served by public transport: the 245 bus from Cricklewood bus garage reaches Wembley Stadium in 29 minutes, and Dollis Hill tube station is about a 25-minute walk through a park. Several bus stops are within a 5-minute walk, providing connections to central London without a car. A large supermarket (Lidl) and local shops are also within 5-10 minutes on foot. The property's position at the fringe of the city means more travel time to the core-about an hour by public transport-but free on-street parking makes car travel practical for visitors arriving by vehicle.

Gladstone Lodge provides a self-catering approach to dining. All rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities, allowing guests to prepare simple meals or hot drinks. Complimentary breakfast bars and bottled water are offered as a light touch. For a fuller meal, several local options are within walking distance-Indian Spice (0.5 km), Pedro's Cafe (1 km), Early's Cafe (1 km), and Pino's Warung (1 km). A large Lidl supermarket is just 5 minutes away for grocery shopping. Guests can also order via Deliveroo or Uber Eats for quick delivery to the property.

Leisure facilities centre on the outdoor areas: a terrace, patio, and garden with outdoor furniture provide a pleasant spot to unwind. The free WiFi (31 Mbps) is suitable for streaming HD content and video calls, making it easy to relax with entertainment or stay connected. The quiet residential neighbourhood itself is a draw for those wanting a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle.

The property offers practical services for a smooth stay. Free WiFi (31 Mbps) covers all rooms. Free public parking is available on nearby streets without a reservation-guests consistently find spaces, and the area has no resident parking or meters. A security system includes CCTV in common areas and outside, smoke alarms, a security alarm, and key access. Express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out are standard, with a contactless key box system. The host is responsive and provides clear instructions. Housekeeping cleans upon request, changing sheets and linens. No luggage storage is available after check-out, and no safe is provided. Guests are responsible for their own travel insurance.
