The hotel sits next to active subway tracks, which can produce significant noise in rooms facing that side. The surrounding area feels unsafe after dark and is not ideal for walking. For trips to Manhattan, the 2 train runs directly to Times Square. The Bronx Zoo is 3 km away and Yankee Stadium is 4 km away, both reachable by a short bus or car ride. Freeways and local streets provide car access, but the immediate neighbourhood has a limited number of shops and dining options.
