Happy Hostel is situated directly beside a 7-11 and local restaurants, with a launderette, massage shops, and street food within a 2-minute walk. The nearest skytrain is a long walk away, so a motorbike taxi or Grab is needed for city-centre trips. The area is quiet at night but lively during the day with a local market and temple nearby. The hostel is also close to Don Mueang Red Line station for rail access. If walking from the airport, take the footbridge from the Amari Hotel to reach the hostel more directly.

Rooms are available as double, twin, triple, or family configurations, each with a flat-screen TV, work desk, and private entrance. Double rooms may have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower or a shared bathroom. Some double rooms feature a balcony with city views and an enclosed terrace. Triple rooms include a private bathroom and minibar. Twin rooms offer a shared bathroom with toiletries provided. All rooms are cleaned daily, have parquet floors, and include a hairdryer, iron, and alarm clock. The beds are consistently noted as comfortable, with soft pillows and effective, quiet air-conditioning.

Each room is stocked with free bottled water, instant coffee, tea, and a selection of sweets or pastries. Guests are often offered fresh fruit on arrival.
