HAPPY HOUSE, Helsinki

Located 3 km from Puotilan Beach and 17 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, the apartment sits in a residential area with excellent public transport. The metro station is a 2-3 minute walk, offering a 15-20 minute ride to the city centre. A day ticket (HSL zones A+B+C) costs roughly €18 for the city and €4 for airport access via the HSL app. The surrounding streets are quiet, with walking trails and a park nearby, while all daily errands-supermarket, chemist, pizza and burger takeaways-are within a two-minute stroll. Free public parking is available on adjacent streets, making this a practical base for both car-free and driving visitors.

The apartment comprises a living room, two separate bedrooms, and one private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Beds include two large double beds and an additional single, sleeping up to six people. The master bed is notably comfortable, with quality mattresses reported across stays. Rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, with a dressing area, dining table, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, cookware, utensils, and a washing machine. Guests have use of a balcony overlooking a leafy inner courtyard. The accommodation is on the first floor of a modern building with a lift, so stairs are not required. The apartment's interior is modern and homely - light, well-maintained, with all basics (coffee, cleaning supplies) provided on arrival.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the property. Guests can prepare their own meals using the fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, dishwasher, electric kettle, cookware, utensils, dining table). A supermarket and a chemist are within a two-minute walk, and several takeaway options (burger, pizza) are in the same block. The kitchen includes a barbecue on the balcony for outdoor cooking. For those wanting to eat out, the metro provides quick access to the city centre with a wide choice of restaurants and cafés.

No spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool is available on site. Outdoor leisure is limited to the apartment's balcony (with garden and courtyard views) and the shared garden with BBQ facilities. For recreation, the nearby park offers walking trails and a scenic setting. The metro connects quickly to Helsinki's city centre attractions, including cultural sites, shopping, and waterfront areas. The apartment is 3 km from Puotilan Beach, which is accessible on foot or by a short metro ride.

Free high-speed WiFi (39 Mbps, tested good for streaming HD and video calls) is provided throughout the apartment. Free public parking is available on nearby streets; reservation is not possible. Luggage storage can be arranged from 11:00 if an early check-in is requested and the apartment is available. Family rooms are standard, and cots can be provided on request. The building has a lift, making the first-floor apartment accessible without stairs. Other services include invoice provision for business travellers, and a friendly, responsive host who offers a thorough introduction upon arrival, with quick assistance during the stay. No pets, smoking, or on-site restaurant are allowed.
