HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES WICHITA AIRPORT BY IHG, Wichita

Standard rooms include a work desk and free toiletries. Suites add separate living areas with sofa beds, seating areas, and dining tables, with some offering accessible features like visual alert systems and wide doorways. The bed setup can be a king or two queen beds, but a specific bed type cannot be guaranteed in advance. While the rooms are well-equipped and the beds are comfortable, the property's proximity to the airport means aircraft noise can be audible; light sleepers may want to prepare accordingly.

The free breakfast offers a substantial start to the day with a wide variety of options, including hot items and fresh fruit, and staff are noted for their helpful and friendly service. For other meals, there is a vending machine for snacks and drinks on site, and several fast food and casual dining restaurants are within a short walk or drive, including McDonald's, Wendy's, Texas Roadhouse, and Hangar One Steak House.

The free 24-hour airport shuttle makes transfers seamless. Free private parking with no reservation needed is a significant advantage. The 24-hour front desk provides easy check-in/out, and luggage storage is complimentary. For business travellers, there is a business centre and meeting/banquet facilities (with additional charges). Daily housekeeping is included, and laundry/dry cleaning services are available for a fee. The property has an on-site minimarket, a lift, and facilities for disabled guests. Safety features include key card access, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box.
