HOME2 SUITES BY HILTON TAMPA USF NEAR BUSCH GARDENS, Tampa

This hotel sits directly across the street from USF and is a 2-minute drive (2 km) from Busch Gardens. The Moffitt Cancer Center is just 350 metres away, making it a practical base for patients and families. Shriners Hospitals for Children is 2 km away, and Tampa International Airport is 14 km from the property. The area around the university offers numerous fast-food and casual dining options within walking distance. While the immediate vicinity can feel busy, the hotel's location provides easy access to both the university campus and the theme parks. For travel to the Amalie Arena, allow 15-25 minutes by car, depending on traffic.

All suites feature a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, sink, and a separate work desk, along with a comfortable sofa (which pulls out into a sleeper). The one-bedroom king suite offers a separate bedroom with a door and two TVs - one in the living area and one in the bedroom. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, an AM/FM alarm clock, ironing facilities, and tea/coffee making amenities. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by lift, but some suites may have smaller bathrooms. The property does not offer rooms with balconies. Traffic noise can be noticeable in street-facing rooms, and earplugs are sometimes provided. The king suite is the largest by square footage, while queen rooms accommodate the most people with two queen beds plus a pull-out sofa.

The free breakfast is served weekdays from 6:00-9:00 AM and weekends from 7:00-10:00 AM. The Home2MKT shop is open 24 hours for buying snacks, drinks, and travel essentials. The property does not have a restaurant or bar, but there are numerous dining options within a short walk or drive, particularly around the USF campus.

The outdoor saline swimming pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The fitness centre is free to use and includes Spin2Cycle equipment. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire pit and complimentary barbecue grills, with utensils provided. The pool area has lounge chairs, though the pool itself is small relative to the size of the hotel, so it can feel busy. The nearest beach is Clearwater Beach, about an hour's drive away.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas but has experienced outages on the 3rd and 4th floors after lightning storms, so if connectivity is essential, consider having a backup hotspot or request a room on a lower floor.
